or lets not.

But I was hoping they would each share with us a couple of examples of SFS grads who "ran with it" and completely changed their businesses from rags to riches.

I hear from so many Joe, Howard, Lone Wolf and SFS attendees that they grabbed a few ideas that made it worth going but it wasn't like becoming a Born Again.

I'm going to assume you have some miracle tent revivalist stories and that you wont mind sharing them with us and Brevik.

Pound for pound, I reckon, they're the ducks guts in their chosen field.

I am also very appreciative of their non self flaggelation of their skills.

I know nothing of the "three bean salad", but Uncle Nick's pasta and other dishes were so good that there was never much left. :(

Ooroo,

There is a carpet cleaning ad on craigslist in the Atlanta area that uses Greg's employment ad for cleaners as his main selling point. He notes that Greg will hire cleaners with no experience as long as their sales skills are top knotch.
He ask, "Why does a carpet cleaner need sales skills?"

When you work two man crews it is easier to find a quiet worker guy technician than a work and socialize technician. The success of the job in the eyes of the customer (the most important opinion) has a lot to do with the success of the crew to bond with the customer.

The cleanest carpet possible will not impress the customer if you are a "DICK" Selling the job after it is done is as important as selling it before you do it.

egg-zaccally....

I swear, I have custys that think I'm the greatest thing since Reeses cups
I could spit on the carpet and rub it in with with a dirty shoe and they'd praise my skills

true story..I had just finished vaccing a room.
Mrs Phiff walked around the corner and looked in.
She told me how GREAT, WONDERFUL and CLEAN the carpet looked

So true for well to do home owners who take the time to get to know their Carpet Cleaner.

But a greater percentage of carpet owners could care less if a steve lillard type comes to do the soaking. As long as the floor looks different and they get a receipt saying it was professionally cleaned.

I did a job yesterday that was Chem Dried 2 times a year for the last nine. She was very loyal to them and hated to break the relationship.
White Berber. She says it did not look different enough the last time so she had the owner come out himself and try again. Still looked dirty.
Will did the 27 step special and she was beyond thrilled.
All 3 of us bonded and now she is ours until I screw up.

OK but they had her for 9 so for those 9 years they provided poor/ marginal cleaning likely because they know how to sell and leave the custy feeling good about the interaction.

I will follow the principles to a "T" it will take time to implememnt. I just ordered 10 cases of spotter bottles and am working on my internet newsletter. They don't carry the chems I use so I can't give them my chems but would in a heart beat. The only issue I have is Yeadons sick twisted man crush on Peyton Manning.

greg Cole is a good guy his only problem is identifying what is important. At the hotel he bought Pizza for a few of the guys and I grabbed a couple cases of beer. You tell me who knew what was important.

I do have a guarantee and you BDCC are lucky you aren't in my area. I will get the carpets cleaner than anyother carpet cleaner..................period

I never never get call backs(except when I tried the soap free and red line) because I get them clean as they are going to get.

Unlisted phone number
no advertising at all
no SEO on the website
more money in the bank than I use to make in a year from January til now after paying everything up to date and taking pay weekly

SFS better double that

If I could do what ever I wanted I'd raise my prices not lower them.

Didn't you drop comm prices like 60%?

Hmmm I saw somewhere , where you posted comm prices, then months later posted them.

Oh it was an email sent to me....

I knew I read something somewhere, must have been from one of your lovers.

Have fun with this. A 45-55% percent drop in prices in 8 months.

Just messing with you, not sure why someone would send me that email?

Honestly you could give your cleaning away, and shop every cleaner on the board... Oh wait you might have.

So mass flyers, val-pak are referral?
I'm still learning.

Crowley- your memory is fading. You offerred to make beer run after the free beer at the hotel ended. I handed your $ to buy some and you left. you came back 2 minutes later and said "you got the pizza - I'll get the beer" . You proved yourself to be a class act. Thankfully you chose NOT to kick me in the balls as you had threatened online!- lol
