Already done. It is smaller in person than it looks in the picture. The cargo area is 6 ft. long and 59 inches wide, with a between the wheel wells width of 48 inches.

I'm designing an oil- fired (30 Kohler / 47 Roots) system right now for one, to be delivered the end of this month.

I'll post pictures when it's done.

Holy crap Duane, that isn't exactly a "small" unit, gonna be a bit tight putting it in that lil' truck, what size waste tank?

No recovery tank. Continuous pump out. Floor- mounted UltraFlow filter, with dual 2" ports and a single 3" connector to the vacuum tank. This one will be a serious, dual- wand fire-breather, with a couple of tricks to show what a 47 Roots can really do, if you tweak it some.

That's part of the "secret".

The machine is 21 inches wide and 53 inches long. The vacuum hose reel is 45" front to back. That leaves 6" wiggle room, front to back. With 58 inches, side to side, that leaves 5 inches..

Look for some real "tricks" in this one to make a nice fit, including electric rewind vacuum reel hung high from near the ceiling, wall reels for solution and water supply, and custom chemical racks.

I can do a similar system in heat exchange or propane as well. The HX won't have the over-kill heat of the propane or kero, but it will deliver over 200 degrees ATW.

This is a PowerClean Liberty we installed into a GMC combo van 18 months ago. They are slightly smaller than the new Ford mini-van, but we still managed to get a 26hp water cooled truck mount in there, with a stainless steel vac hose reel and waste tank - the front part of the van can still fit some accessories.

It is not ideal in my opinion, as it is still a small van, very small. For a back up, or a separate portable or encap vehicle they are perfect. This client used this setup like it is for over 12 months as he already had the combo van, and couldn't stretch to purchase a new TM and a new larger van, so he used this setup as a 'stepping stone' vehicle, and we now have installed the Liberty TM into a larger more practical van - but it more then served its intended interim purpose.

You can get a separate computer, GPS, and printer for $500. Your old full sized van fully loaded will get 17 MPG. MUCH more payload capacity. That 100 mile range on the 2012 electric model looks tempting though. LOL

First of all, it's not tank-less. You still need a tank to recover the dirty water so you can pump it out. It's just a very small tank, hopefully, as small as you can make it, as long as the APO is very reliable and trouble-free, and it does NOT foam.

Do we really need to obsess with gas mileage as a major part of our CC operations? Sure, vehicle gas mileage needs to be controlled, but, you may end up being "splitting hairs" over a business expense that is miniscule compared to what you are making doing your work, and driving around in a vehicle that is NOT comfortable, all day long.

An efficiently designed TM (and tankless is right up there at the top of my list) will save you space in your van, and save weight (dirty water is over 8.5 lbs. per gallon - do you want to haul that around all day long, adding to your gas consumtion and wear and tear on the vehicle?)

Nope, and I don't either.

Or you could save more by buying a used van than you would ever save on fuel.

I wish I had some photos but this was many years ago. We fit the Liberty into the Ford Feestyle which was/is essentially an oversized station wagon.. The unit did have a tank but it was what we call a seperator tank. As it filled, it pumped out the waste water.

I kind of like the looks of the truck if you dare to call it that.

Hey Jim B, what about posting some pics of that red "thing" we installed the Liberty in for the trade show? I remember telling Gary "there is absolutely no way it will fit" and he just smiled and said "you just watch mate". . Sure enough it did. I thought it was a VW brand car? :shock:

My van HAS to weigh 3 times what this glorified mini-van does... why doesn't it get like 40mpg? :roll:
